Maintenance Tips

Your PROE Grip Socks are built to deliver premium comfort, traction, and performance. Following these care instructions will help preserve their grip, fit, and durability for every training session and match.

Wash After Every Use

Sweat, dirt, and bacteria can affect both the fabric and grip performance over time.

  • Machine wash at 30°C (Cold/Warm Wash).
  • Turn the socks inside out before washing to better protect the grip pads.
  • Wash with similar colours.

Use Mild Detergent

Choose a gentle detergent that won't damage the fibres or silicone grips.

  • Avoid bleach and harsh cleaning chemicals.
  • Do not use fabric softener, as it can reduce grip effectiveness and moisture-wicking performance.

Air Dry Only

High temperatures can weaken the silicone grips and elastic fibres.

  • Lay flat or hang to air dry naturally.
  • Avoid tumble drying.
  • Do not iron your grip socks.

Preserve the Grip Technology

The silicone grip pads are engineered for long-lasting traction. To maximise their lifespan:

  • Avoid dragging the socks across rough surfaces.
  • Wear them inside suitable sports footwear.
  • Remove them carefully after use instead of pulling aggressively from the grip area.

Store Them Properly

Keep your socks in a cool, dry place when not in use.

  • Avoid leaving them in damp gym bags for extended periods.
  • Store away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
  • Ensure they are completely dry before storing.

Rotate Between Pairs

If you train or compete frequently, rotating between two or more pairs allows the fabric and elastic fibres to recover between uses, helping extend the life of each pair.

Avoid Sharp Surfaces

Although PROE Grip Socks are designed for performance, sharp studs, rough flooring, Velcro, or abrasive surfaces can damage the fabric or grip pads. Inspect your socks regularly and avoid unnecessary friction whenever possible.

Don't Modify the Socks

Avoid cutting, stretching, or altering your grip socks, as this may compromise their fit, comfort, and performance.

Inspect Before Every Match

Before training or competition:

  • Check that the grip pads remain clean and intact.
  • Ensure there are no tears or excessive wear.
  • Replace socks that have lost significant grip or support.

Performance Starts with Proper Care

A little care goes a long way. Keeping your PROE Grip Socks clean, dry, and properly maintained ensures they continue delivering the traction, comfort, and confidence you rely on — whether you're training, competing, or pushing your limits.
